Neutrik - NE8MX6-B

In an audio, lighting or network installation on stage, connections are often handled, plugged in and unplugged in less than ideal conditions. The Neutrik NE8MX6-B has been designed to address this reality. This CAT6A etherCON cable connector transforms a conventional network link into a robust connection, suitable for professional environments where signal reliability remains essential.

The kit includes an RJ45 CAT6A plug and a metal connector body that effectively protects the connection. This die-cast zinc casing, with its black finish, provides real resistance to the repeated handling and stresses encountered on stage, on tour or in a technical installation. The latch lock system, tried and tested on the etherCON range, holds the cable firmly in place to prevent accidental disconnection.

Installation remains simple thanks to the self-terminating system, compatible with cables from 7 to 9.5 mm in diameter and AWG24 to AWG22 conductors, in solid or stranded versions. Inside, the Neutrik chuck-type strain relief system holds the cable in place without damaging it and reduces mechanical stress on the contacts.

On the transmission side, the NE8MX6-B meets CAT6A requirements, suitable for the fast networks used today for audio over IP, video or stage control systems. It also supports PoE++ according to the IEEE 802.3bt standard, enabling equipment to be powered via the network cable.

Combined with certain compatible panel connectors, the unit achieves IP65 protection, practical for demanding environments or outdoor installations.
