NS Design - Boomerang strap system Omni bass/bass cello

Two support arms radiate from the friction pivot hub: it's this geometry that gives the Boomerang system its postural signature. The instrument turns freely in any axis - vertical, horizontal, inclined towards the body - without the strap moving a millimetre. Balance follows movement, not the other way round.

The friction pivot hub is the central part of the device. Its mechanism locks the chosen position with calibrated resistance, so that a change of play between bow and pizzicato is executed without interrupting the musical flow. Instant adjustment of the position eliminates dead time between playing intentions. The tripod insert and compatibility with the End Pin Stand anchor the whole unit on a rigid base, without transferring parasitic vibration to the player's body.

The Boomerang fits the Omni Bass, the NS Double Bass and the NS Cello - three instruments with different ergonomic constraints, but which this system covers with the same mechanical logic. The reduction in long-term fatigue comes not from excess padding, but from the redistribution of weight that the two arms naturally impose on the shoulder girdle rather than on a single point of support.
