The CR Omni Bass 5-string Amber Stain from NS Design is somewhere between an electric bass and a double bass, with a short fingerboard for easy handling. Its low B 5th string expands the musical palette while retaining a precise response with both finger and bow. EMG and Polar Piezo provide a versatile sound for both studio and live use. Supplied with bag and Boomerang Strap System.

The CR Omni Bass 5-string Amber Stain opens up a whole new world of possibilities for bassists looking to explore a wider range. With an extra string, Low B or High C, this instrument retains the familiar feel of an electric bass while allowing for deep bass lines or unprecedented melodic extensions. Whether played with a punchy pizzicato or an expressive bow, every note resonates with a richness and clarity reminiscent of an acoustic double bass.
The body and neck are made from solid maple with a flamed top, resulting in a clear sound, natural sustain and good stability, even when the temperature or humidity changes. The TransRadius™ fingerboard adopts an asymmetrical profile and visible position markings, which helps you find your way around easily and makes playing fluid throughout the neck, whether you're playing fast passages or notes higher in the register.
The 5-string CR Omni Bass features Polar Piezo, which distinguishes between vertical vibrations for sustained pizzicato and lateral vibrations for rich, dynamic bowing. Magnetic EMG pickups round out the sound with classic electric tones, and the EMG 18V active preamp lets you sculpt the sound live with the built-in EQ.
