The CR Amber Stain 5-string electric cello from NS Design opens up new horizons for cellists by adding a low string that broadens the tonal spectrum and harmonic possibilities.
This extra string makes it possible to explore deeper registers, accompany bass lines or create more complex arrangements, while retaining the precision and comfort of a traditional instrument.
Constructed from solid European maple with a flamed top, it delivers a clean, balanced sound on all strings. The compact body allows easy access to the high notes, and the classic neck profile, combined with a graduated fingerboard and adjustable truss rod, ensures effortless, fluid playing. The Amber Stain finish protects the wood while bringing out its natural nuances, giving the instrument a warm, elegant appearance.
The Polar Piezo system integrated into the bridge distinguishes between lateral vibrations for the bow and vertical vibrations for the pizzicato, offering expressive precision. The active EMG electronics let you choose between a sound close to traditional acoustics or a modern amplified tone, adjustable with the volume, bass and treble controls, and the pickup selector. The integrated headphone output makes it easy to practice silently and monitor in the studio.
