NS Design's NXTa cello in Satin Sunburst has some interesting features for modern cellists.

This instrument is built from solid maple with a straight grained neck and a flamed maple top. It combines aesthetics and robustness.

The ebony fingerboard is hand-graduated. It allows for precise playing. This is facilitated by the cascade markers that help with impeccable intonation, even in the highest positions. Its asymmetrical relief is adjustable via the truss rod, allowing you to customize the playability according to your tastes.

Thanks to its Polar piezo sensor system, mounted on the bridge, this model captures all the richness of the sound, whether for Arco or Pizzicato passages. A toggle switch allows you to choose between these two styles. This gives great flexibility in the way the instrument reacts to bow attacks or fingers.

The onboard electronics are distinguished by a dual output mode.

In active mode, after a charge of only 60 seconds, the circuit is powered for a duration of 16 hours. It provides a direct connection to any device, without the need for a direct box. This mode also guarantees signal clarity. There is also no loss in quality, even with long cables.

For passive mode, this reference can be connected to amplifiers or direct boxes with a high impedance input. You will benefit from a choice of acoustic flexibility.

The bridge allows you to adjust the height of the strings with great ease. Compatibility with NS strings and most traditional acoustic strings offers more versatility.
