The Terror Stamp incorporates the results of years of experimentation on the Micro Terror and Micro Dark models. Thanks to its hybrid tube/transistor architecture, which is entirely analogue, this little pedal effortlessly delivers 20 watts of pure British Orange sound. It offers the best of the legendary Orange sound while retaining its simplicity.
The tube/transistor design allows you to benefit from the best of both types of amplification. The ECC83 tube preamp delivers crystal-clear sound with plenty of gain. It offers all the harmonics and dynamics typical of this type of preamp. The transistor power amp, on the other hand, offers 20 watts of Class AB power, ensuring simplicity and a powerful sound whatever the volume required.
This design is combined with a switchable volume control that lets you play two palettes of tones at two different volume levels, and a Shape control. The latter lets you sculpt your sound: turning to the left will accentuate your midrange, while turning to the right will give you a more classic sound.
Like all the brand's amps, the effects loop is perfectly buffered and low impedance. No matter what your equipment, the Terror Stamp can be easily integrated into your effects chain. What's more, if you plug it directly into the FX Return, it becomes a 20-watt power amp for any pedals, preamps or modellers you connect it to. It even works with headphones!
In fact, our analogue CabSim output perfectly reproduces a 4x12 cabinet and the effects you apply to it on headphones. What's more, it can also be very useful for connecting to a mixing desk.
This concentrate of big English sound also features an 8/16 ohm speaker output, a buffered effects loop and a CabSim output for connecting headphones. This combination is perfect for combining with the rest of your pedalboard, whether you're on stage, recording or just rehearsing.
