A modern evolution of the famous MC A90, the Ortofon MC 90X is aimed at discerning audiophiles who leave nothing to chance when it comes to their listening experience. Its low-level moving coil architecture reveals all the finesse of analogue recordings, with dynamics that bring music to life.
This acoustic jewel is based on an Ortofon Replicant 100 diamond, renowned for its ultra-thin shape and optimised contact surface. In practice, this means an ability to follow the groove with extreme precision, while capturing the micro-details often lost with more conventional cells.
The one-piece stainless steel structure, manufactured by laser fusion (SLM technology), offers unfailing rigidity and eliminates parasitic vibrations. Combined with a system of quadruple coils in Aucurum (gold-plated copper), it guarantees signal reproduction of exemplary clarity and impressive stereo balance.
Designed for top-of-the-range turntables, the MC 90X has a 0.25 mV output, revealing its full potential when combined with a quality MC phono preamp.
