The Pearl Export EXX725NBRC-779 Metallic Amethyst Twist drum kit is just what you need if you like big sound and big energy. Its configuration includes a 22" x 18" bass drum, 12" x 8" and 13" x 9" toms, a 16" x 16" bass tom and a 14" x 5.5" snare drum. This 22" format gives a solid bottom end, ideal for rock, pop-rock, powerful blues or energetic covers.
The bass drum offers a full-bodied hit, with an impact that can be felt physically. The toms descend with roundness and depth, perfect for expressive, dynamic fills. You get a kit that breathes and takes up space without straining.
The drums are made from six-ply poplar, around 7.5 mm thick. This wood produces a warm, balanced sound that's easy to tune. It adds volume while retaining a beautiful musicality, even at high volume levels.
The 14" x 5.5" snare drum responds with clarity and precision. It's just as suited to heavy rhythms as it is to more subtle passages, with good sensitivity under the sticks. You can switch from a massive groove to a finer style of playing without losing definition.
The Opti-Loc system provides stable support for the toms while allowing the drums to vibrate freely. The triple-flanged hoops add strength and help maintain reliable tuning over time.
