The Pearl STS1465SC-847 Session Studio Select 14 x 6.5" Scarlet Ash continues the DNA of the Session series, with a hybrid body made from 4 layers of birch and 2 layers of African mahogany.
This blend of woods produces a warm, round sound, with deep bass and a well-structured midrange, ideal for expressive playing in the studio and on stage. The 6.5" depth adds body to the strokes, while retaining responsiveness on ghost notes.
The 60° bevels add definition to the attack, while the SuperHoop II stamped rims ensure crisp, accurate rimshots. The SR-017 trigger and S-022N timbre guarantee an even, balanced and stable response in all playing dynamics.
