Pleyel - P124 Art Nouveau Acajou Satiné

With its Art Nouveau-inspired design, the Pleyel P 124 Art Nouveau Satin Mahogany combines French craftsmanship with a design tailored to piano enthusiasts. This upright piano is designed and assembled in France and captures the spirit of the famous No. 9, Pleyel’s iconic model from the 1930s. Its flamed mahogany cabinet with a satin-varnished finish lends it an elegant visual identity, whilst its clear, luminous tone enhances musical performances.

The P 124 Art Nouveau Satin Mahogany features a Ciresa soundboard made from solid spruce from the Val di Fiemme, a keyboard made from solid Austrian spruce, ebony and PVC resin, and a Pleyel action. Its hammers use Wurzen FFW® felt from Germany with a hornbeam core and an under-padding. The top-quality solid beech bridges, Hellerbass and Röslau strings from Germany, and the hammered gilded frame all contribute to its design.

Fitted with three pedals – forte, soft and sustain – this piano also features a keyboard cylinder with a closing damping brake and castors to facilitate its movement. Measuring 1480 x 660 x 1240 mm and weighing 300 kg, the Pleyel P 124 Art Nouveau Satin Mahogany is a fully-fledged instrument suited to spaces seeking an upright piano with a finely crafted finish.

It can also be fitted with an optional silent system or a Magistral system, allowing its functionality to be enhanced to suit the needs of users seeking a personalised configuration whilst retaining its original characteristics.
