The Pleyel P124 Trocadéro in gloss black embodies the Art Deco style, featuring an elegant ornamental lyre that emphasises the refined character of its cabinet. Its glossy black piano lacquer finish makes a striking visual impression whilst blending easily into a variety of settings, whether intended for music-making or interior design.

This upright piano is designed to offer the musical qualities of a contemporary Pleyel. Its rich tone covers a wide range, with full, deep bass notes and fine, distinguished treble notes. This tonal diversity allows pianists to tackle a wide variety of repertoires whilst enjoying a balanced sound.

The Pleyel action contributes to the precision of the touch and enables pianists of all levels to develop a nuanced interpretation. The 88 keys rest on a keyboard made of solid Austrian spruce with ebony and PVC resin facings.

The soundboard, made from solid Ciresa spruce from the Val di Fiemme, the Wurzen FFW® felt hammers with a hornbeam core, the solid beech bridges, and the Hellerbass and Röslau strings all contribute to the instrument’s design.

The frame, finished in satin silver, completes the ensemble, whilst the three pedals (forte, soft and mute) expand the range of interpretative possibilities. The keyboard cylinder is fitted with a closing damping brake to assist with its operation. Options for a silent system and a Magistral system are also available, allowing the piano to be adapted to the musician’s needs.
