The CDL10P amplified line array loudspeaker from PreSonus is designed to fill the space without ever forcing the issue. Its constant directivity design is based on a hybrid architecture, combining line array spirit and point source logic, to project a clear, legible and homogeneous message, even when the room is stretched wide. The centred radiation, resulting from coherent acoustic alignment, creates a balanced listening experience that keeps speech intelligible and music alive, whatever the position of the audience. The on-board Class D amplification supports this coherence with energy, while remaining controlled and fluid in transitions. Designed for the field as well as for fixed installation, the PreSonus CDL10P cultivates an assertive sonic presence that makes you want to pile on a second, then a third... just to see how far they can go.
Presentation
In the CDL10P, the internal crossover setting at 420 Hz plays a key role in the feeling of fluidity experienced when listening. This frequency naturally limits comb filtering between several stacked speakers, maintaining a smooth, coherent low-midrange response.
Transients become clearer, vocals remain legible and instruments find their place without unnecessary masking. This approach results in a balanced musical reproduction, designed to last without auditory fatigue.
The CDL10P's integrated Class D amplification delivers 500 x 500 W, intelligently distributed across the speaker voice coils. This distribution reduces power compression and stabilises the phase response, even at sustained sound pressure levels. The listening experience remains clean, controlled and surprisingly comfortable for a loudspeaker in this category.
PreSonus has incorporated an internal DSP designed to simplify the implementation of array configurations. On-board presets make it easy to align from 1 to 6 speakers, while adapting behaviour according to use with or without a subwoofer. The 90 Hz high-pass filter refines the transition to bass, while dedicated Sub modes ensure immediate consistency with compatible models.
This on-board intelligence saves time during installation. It also allows you to concentrate on the essentials, namely the diffusion and balance of the system.

This combination will strengthen the system's foundation without unbalancing the diffusion.
You should also remember to include the specific PreSonus CDL Series mounting accessories if the installation involves suspension or a vertical array. The lifting frame, the extension bar and the appropriate slings secure the whole system with a high safety factor, while making it easy to adjust the inclination.
