This warm overdrive with plenty of sustain gives guitarists an expressive and varied voice. It's perfect for guitars with single-coil pickups, thanks to its input gain section, similar to guitar amp circuitry, which provides level compensation and gain boost. A FAT switch amplifies low frequencies for an even fatter, more powerful sound. The internal circuit doubles the supply voltage from 9 to 18 volts, achieving a wider dynamic range than conventional overdrive effects.

In standard true bypass circuits the instrument signal passes through two switching contacts when bypassed.
The ROD-1 configuration ensures that the signal passes through only one contact, for unrivalled signal quality and reliability.
Due to the adoption of the new Dual Contact Grounding Circuit (D.C.G. Circuit), by inserting a mono plug into the output socket, the plug shield provides two points of contact with the pedal's ground circuit.
By increasing the contact area, it becomes unlikely that a connection will break.
As well as indicating the on/off state of the pedal, the LED provides effective visual monitoring of battery power.
When the battery voltage drops below 7 volts, the LED becomes dimmer and starts to go out.
The effect will still operate at this voltage, but to ensure optimum performance, the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.

On obtient de très bonnes sonorités. La présence du volume ccomplique un peu les réglages comparé à une pédale d'overdrive classique mais ça permet d'ajuster le signal d'entrée rapidement si l'on change de guitare: génial pour ceux qui utilisent plusieurs guitares sur scène avec des micros simples et doubles.
La qualité de fabrication est au top.
