The 5090 Matt White from Q Acoustics is a two-way centre speaker equipped with two 110 mm drivers with C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ technology and a 25 mm tweeter, covering a frequency response of 57 Hz to 30 kHz for full reproduction of the sound spectrum.
At the heart of this centre speaker lies a real innovation: the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™. The result of extensive research, this smooth continuous curvature profile combines in a single component the advantages of a straight cone, deep, tight and well-damped bass dynamics, and those of a flared cone, renowned for its excellent midrange and high-frequency control.
The result is remarkable sonic coherence with reduced harmonic distortion, controlled dispersion and natural integration with the 25mm tweeter, whose precise cut-off frequency at 2.1kHz ensures a seamless transition between registers.
Its high sensitivity of 90.5 dB and recommended power range of 25 to 150 W make it a flexible partner, capable of combining with a wide choice of electronics. The frequency response covers 57 Hz to 30 kHz, providing a broad spectrum that leaves nothing out, from the most subtle dialogues to the most intense effects.
