Created in the fall of 1991, the company was initially the Canadian distributor of Mogami cables and Jensen Audio products. In 1992, the business expanded and the firm was named JP Cabletek Electronics Ltd. The name Radial was initially used to designate the brand of cables and other reels produced by the company.
