- Created in 1968, the Controlled Sound (CS) Transparent skins are manufactured with single-ply 10-mil thick transparent (type Ambassador), with a round black reinforcement 5 mil thick at the center of the upper face of the skin.
- This combination provides a specific tone and contolled by eliminating unwanted harmonics. The outer surface produces a sensitive sound rather centered on the mids, while the reinforcement adds tonal accuracy and greater strength to resist the batsmen supported the strike.
