Some accessories are reassuring at first glance, and this Rockgear 20207B cover is one of them. The buffalo leather is eye-catching, thick, natural, almost raw. It's easy to see that this is an artisanal piece, handcrafted with a level of care that you don't often see.
It's a cover for a hollow body guitar, but above all it's a piece designed to accompany stress-free moments on stage, in rehearsal or during transport.
Inside, everything is designed to absorb, cushion and stabilise. Between the EVA foam, the polyethylene foam, the plastic plate and the different densities of padding, the guitar remains immobile, protected from shocks and vibrations.
The velvetine lining adds a soft, almost luxurious feel, as if the instrument were in a box. Fragile areas benefit from leather-reinforced patches, and the Guitar-Saving and Neck-Saving systems provide real security.
The exterior is as practical as it is robust: leather handles, two thick cotton straps, a solid zip, metal hooks and several well-organised pockets. Cables, tuners, sheet music and even small tools are all easily stowed away.
