Rode - DCS-1

The RODE DCS-1 is designed for creative people who need a compact solution for mounting multiple accessories on a camera with a single hot shoe. This mount, designed to support two microphones or any other equipment fitted with a cold shoe, simplifies the integration of more elaborate audio configurations without cluttering up the camera. For example, it can hold two Wireless GO receivers, a VideoMic combined with a wireless system, or a stereo microphone, all with a stable hold thanks to its lightweight yet rigid aluminium design.

The stand has also been developed to be discreet: its low profile and light weight mean that the set-up is not weighed down, while guaranteeing sufficient strength for regular use, whether for event filming, vlogging or reporting. The cable management slots, integrated directly into the structure, keep the audio links clean, reducing the risk of snagging or parasitic noise due to friction. Combined with the SC11 cable, it becomes a particularly clean base for linking two microphones to a single camera input.

The DCS-1 is a natural fit for most RODE products with a shoe adaptor, from compact microphones to wireless systems. Its 1/4" thread on the underside of the base further extends the possibilities, as it can also be mounted on a magic arm, handle or small tripod.
