The AKG W30 is a windscreen specially developed for AKG CK31, CK32 and CK33 conference microphones and gooseneck capsules. It limits unwanted noise caused by air blasts, explosive consonants and air movement close to the capsule, to improve speech intelligibility in professional environments.
Particularly suited to meeting rooms, conference areas, corporate installations, institutional venues or public address systems, this windscreen helps to maintain a cleaner, more stable sound reproduction when speaking. It also helps reduce disturbance caused by air conditioning or air movement in fixed installations.
Its lightweight design preserves the acoustic performance of compatible capsules, while providing additional protection against dust and light spray. The W30 can be quickly fitted to compatible AKG microphones without the need for any special tools.
With its discreet black finish, it blends easily into conference environments and professional AV installations without drawing attention to itself in the picture or on stage.
