RODE Wireless GO (Gen 3) White marks a significant evolution for creatives who need a compact, reliable HF system without sacrificing audio quality. This generation retains the philosophy that has made the range so popular - simple, immediate and versatile operation - while incorporating a series of enhancements designed for modern filming. Among these, the addition of 32-bit float recording transforms the way sound recording is approached: level variations no longer become a problem, accidental saturation can be recovered, and weak takes can be exploited without unwanted noise. This is a considerable advantage for fast-paced or solo shoots.
RØDE Series IV digital transmission at 2.4 GHz, combined with 128-bit encryption, ensures a stable link up to 260 metres line-of-sight. The integrated omnidirectional capsules have been redesigned to deliver a cleaner, more natural voice, with low background noise and better plosive management. The lockable connectors provide greater peace of mind when using an external lapel microphone.
The system also incorporates GainAssist, an algorithm capable of automatically adjusting levels in real time. Combined with manual gain control, a safety channel and camera presets, it helps to ensure a usable track right from capture. The receiver includes a headphone output with dedicated adjustment, handy for checking the signal live.
The whole system is easy to set up thanks to the bright LCD screen and the RODE Central application, which offers recording management, routing, updates and advanced settings. Finally, compatibility with the entire IV series makes it easy to integrate with other RØDE equipment, whether it's a RØDECaster, a Wireless PRO or one of the brand's video systems.
