Xvive - U6

The Xvive U6 redefines the simplicity of wireless audio for video. Compact, lightweight and with amazing audio quality, this complete system has been designed to offer a ready-to-use solution for content creators, vloggers, journalists and musicians who want to record professional sound, whether on a DSLR camera, smartphone or tablet.

The U6's transmitter, barely larger than a cigarette lighter, incorporates a high-sensitivity omnidirectional microphone (-32 dB ± 3 dB) capable of capturing voice with clarity, naturalness and precision. Thanks to its versatile design, it can be worn in a variety of ways: clipped onto an item of clothing, attached with a hook & loop fastener, or even concealed under a shirt for a sleeker visual effect. This flexibility means you can adapt the placement to suit the context - interviews, video presentations, filming or music recording.

The receiver, equipped with a shoe mount, is easily installed on top of a camera and connected via a TRS mini-jack cable. For full smartphone compatibility, a TRS to TRRS adapter is included. Its ultra-compact design and light weight (29 g) also mean it can be attached directly to the back of a phone or tripod using the hook-and-loop fasteners supplied.

In terms of performance, the Xvive U6 transmits a 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio signal on the 2.4 GHz ISM band, guaranteeing faithful reproduction of timbre and an absence of perceptible noise. The receiver's True Diversity technology, equipped with two antennas, ensures a stable, seamless connection up to 90 feet (approx. 27 metres), with a latency of just 5 ms. Four switchable channels are available to avoid interference in busy environments.

Battery life is up to 4 continuous hours thanks to the built-in lithium-ion batteries, which can be recharged in 2 hours via the included dual USB cable. The system can even operate while charging, offering ideal flexibility for extended shoots.
