The Sabian AA Holy China 14" natural has been designed for drummers who like fast, aggressive accents that are immediately audible in a busy mix.
Despite its small diameter, this china develops impressive projection with a lively, brilliant attack that easily cuts through saturated guitars, thick keyboards or highly compressed drums.
Its high profile and raw bell reinforce the sensation of immediate impact under the baton. The 12 series of triple perforations add even more air and bite to the sound, with a trashy character much appreciated in metal, punk, hardcore or modern rock. The sustain is deliberately kept short to keep the accents clean and precise without weighing down the overall playability of the kit.
Thanks to its 14-inch format, this Holy China easily fits into a compact setup, a stack or a more massive stage-oriented configuration. Made from hammered B20 bronze, it retains the brilliant vintage grain typical of the AA series, inspired by the great rock sounds of the 50s, 60s and 70s.
