Aaron Marshall is the guitarist, composer and founder of progressive metal instrumental project Intervals. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he initially formed the band in 2011 as a collaborative project, before becoming its leader and sole permanent member.
Known for his technical and melodic playing, he has established a distinctive signature sound, blending elements of djent, progressive rock and fusion. Following several acclaimed EPs and albums, including The Way Forward (2018) and Circadian (2020), he has solidified Intervals' place as a major player on the modern instrumental scene.
