Signature Guitar
While the history of “Greeny” is shrouded in mystery, few guitars can claim to be as famous. The Greeny is one of the most iconic Les Paul Standards ever made, thanks in part to its tone that is as recognizable as the guitar itself. Purchased by Peter Green, the Greeny accompanied its very first owner during his time with Fleetwood Mac, before he sold it to Gary Moore, who played it for three decades with his hard rock band Thin Lizzy and during his solo career. Now owned by Kirk Hammet, Greeny can boast of having passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. How about you?

Presentation
The Gibson Kirk Hammett Greeny Les Paul Standard Greeny Burst is a guitar that embodies a living legend. Inspired by the fascinating history of the famous “Greeny,” this Les Paul Standard honors the journey of three iconic guitarists: Peter Green, Gary Moore and Kirk Hammett.
Each milestone in its history is etched into its design and tone, offering today’s players a rare opportunity to connect with a priceless musical legacy.
The body is crafted from solid mahogany, topped with a AAA figured maple top, giving this guitar a luxurious aesthetic and deep resonance. The satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish accentuates the visual character of the top while allowing the wood to vibrate naturally.
The mahogany neck is shaped to a vintage 1950s profile for a comfortable grip and authentic tactile response.
The Indian rosewood fingerboard, adorned with acrylic trapezoid inlays, features a 12-inch radius, combined with 22 medium jumbo frets, for smooth and precise playing. The Graph Tech nut and Grover Rotomatics tuners ensure optimum tuning stability, even during the most intense performances.
The key element of this guitar is its Greenybucker pickups. In the middle position, their out-of-phase wiring, thanks to the reverse magnetic polarity of the neck pickup, creates that legendary and recognizable sound, popularized by Peter Green.
The two-volume and two-tone control system, equipped with Orange Drop capacitors, offers a wide range of tones, ranging from warm and bluesy tones to more cutting sounds.
With its ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, its lightweight aluminum tailpiece and its nickel hardware details, this guitar perfectly combines tradition and modern performance.
Packaged in an Original Series hardshell case, the Kirk Hammett Greeny Les Paul Standard Greeny Burst is a centerpiece for music and history enthusiasts.
