Developed in collaboration with Avenged Sevenfold bassist Johnny Christ, the Johnny Christ Signature Satin Black LH left-handed bass embodies a direct and expressive approach to playing. Its ash body, combined with a screw-down maple neck and ebony fingerboard, provides a balanced tonal base, where deep bass meets clean, articulate attack.
The 'C' neck profile, combined with a 34" scale and 21 Narrow X-Jumbo frets, promotes a fluid grip and fast response, ideal for both rhythmic lines and more melodic passages. The EMG configuration, with an MMCS in bridge position and an 81 in neck, lets you explore a wide range of sound textures, from dense grain to incisive highs.
The active 2-band EQ gives you the control you need to adjust your sound to suit the context, whether in the studio or on stage. Visually, the black satin finish, gold cross markings and gold hardware reinforce a strong identity. This left-handed bass doesn't just follow your playing: it supports it with accuracy and character, inviting you to assert your style without compromise.

The stage name "Johnny Christ" was given to him by guitarist Zacky Vengeance. His original name was Jonathan Seward. Johnny joined Avenged Sevenfold while still at high school, dropping out to tour with the band. He has been the band's permanent bassist ever since.
