Lefthanded Bass
Sire Marcus Miller M7 Ash 5 Strings LH Natural The Sire Marcus Miller M7 Ash 5-String Gaucher in natural finish sets out its ambitions from the outset: solid flamed maple top on a swamp ash body, a combination that combines natural warmth and tonal definition on all five strings. Marcus Pure-H Revolution humbucking pickups eliminate background noise where others capitulate, while the Heritage-3 3-band preamp with midrange frequency control sculpts the sound at source. A left-handed bass that makes no compromises on the electronic arsenal.

Presentation
The Sire Marcus Miller M7 Ash 5-String Gaucher is a modern bass for left-handers who refuse to settle for a watered-down version of the catalogue. The 35-inch (889mm) scale stretches the bass with clean string tension and low-end definition that holds its own at the 18mm string spacing - tight enough for speed, open enough for groove.
The luthiery speaks for itself. The swamp ash body provides a direct attack and a fleshy midrange, which the solid flame maple top refines with a brighter grain at the top of the spectrum. The C-profile hard maple neck is attached to the body via the Four Bolt Individual Bushing system for transmission without loss of energy. The 304.8mm radius Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard and its 24 medium frets give a firm, precise feel from the bottom of the neck to the high positions.
The electronic block is the real selling point of this M7. Marcus Pure-H Revolution Set humbucking pickups reduce interference without castrating dynamics - every thumb or pick attack retains its bite. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp controls three bands of EQ with dual-potentiometer midrange frequency control, and the two serial/split/parallel mini-switches allow you to reconfigure the behaviour of the pickups according to the context: from the rock scene to the jazz club, the bass changes face without changing instrument. The active/passive mini-switch stays in control in all circumstances. The Heavy Mass Custom bridge, 45 mm natural bone saddle and matt black hardware complete an instrument designed from start to finish to last and perform.
