Sennheiser's Boom Arm was designed to coincide with the creation of the Profile USB-C microphone, but is compatible with all types of microphones, including third-party brands.
Warning: if you buy the Boom Arm after purchasing the Profile USB in its Base Set version, remember to buy a USB-C cable of sufficient length at the same time (the 1.2 m cable supplied with the Base Set will be too short). Instead, opt for Sennheiser's 3 m USB-C cable, or any other USB-C cable at least 2 m long.
