The Yellowtec m!ka PopShield is a pop filter designed to reduce plosive sounds and preserve vocal clarity during recording. Compatible with all m!ka microphone arms, it attaches to a 5/8" thread, follows the microphone’s movements and features a double-layer nylon filter.

Yellowtec’s m!ka PopShield is designed to improve vocal recordings by minimising artefacts caused by plosive consonants such as P, T, B or D. It is an ideal solution for microphones with lightweight diaphragms, which are particularly sensitive to such disturbances, helping to maintain a cleaner signal and minimise the risk of distortion in the preamplifiers.
It attaches directly to the 5/8" thread of a m!ka microphone arm, ensuring it remains perfectly aligned with the microphone. When the arm is moved, rotated or tilted, the pop filter naturally follows all adjustments without needing to be repositioned.
Its flexible gooseneck facilitates precise adjustment to suit the working setup. Fitted with a double-layered nylon filter measuring 130 mm in diameter, the m!ka PopShield integrates easily into any setup using a m!ka microphone arm, whilst remaining compact at just 0.18 kg.
