The Seymour Duncan Little '78 Bridge pickup, with its dual-coil, splittable, single-coil configuration, delivers a warm, bright sound with rich, subtle harmonics, ideal for powerful riffs and punchy solos.

ARTICLE N° 90422
In 1978, Eddie Van Halen gave Seymour Duncan a P.A.F. pick-up to experiment with, with instructions to rewind it in order to improve the reproduction of artificial harmonics and add a little more power.

The Little '78 Strat is the double, single-ended version of this experiment. The combination of magnet and output gives a warm sound with punchy, overtone-rich riffs.
While this may not be the end result Eddie was aiming for, it does offer guitarists the opportunity to relive an important stage in the early days of his legendary quest for the ultimate sound.

If you're a discerning musician looking for a high-performance sound, the Little '78 Strat could be just the thing for you. Discover this reference and rediscover the sonic essence of Eddie Van Halen's fervent pursuit of the perfect tone.
