In 1978, Eddie Van Halen gave him his P.A.F. pickup with instructions to rewind it and make it more sensitive to natural and artificial harmonics. In other words, he wanted Seymour Duncan to add his own special touch.
Today, this unique experience is offered in the form of the Lil'78 pickup, now available in single coil format. It gives you all the legendary aggression of this pickup without having to make any drastic changes to your guitar. Thanks to its Alnico V magnets and its 4-conductor cable, which means it can be split.
