Pickup for Stratocaster electric guitar, offset magnets, single coil, bridge position, supplied with white cover. The SSL-52 takes its name from the magnets it uses: a mix of Alnico 2 and 5, specifically positioned for smooth highs and tight lows, for a super-musical result. The custom-coiled bridge pickup is slightly warmer, just what a single-coil bridge needs, and is calibrated for full-bodied sustain and stronger attack.

Presentation
The classic Five-Two Stratocaster pickup was originally designed for Nashville studio players who wanted to soften the treble attack on their high strings while retaining all the articulate snap on the low strings.
The solution was a mix of Alnico 2 and Alnico 5 rod magnets that offer the best of both worlds:
- The Alnico 2 rods under the G, B and E strings offer a smooth treble response.
- The Alnico 5s under the E, A and D bass strings keep them crisp and clear.
