The Showtec Assistant is an essential tool for lighting technicians and installers who want to quickly check the reliability of their lighting networks. Compact, robust and completely autonomous, it combines DMX, RDM, Art-Net and sACN protocol testing in a single box, making it easy to analyse, record and replay signals.
Thanks to its clear, responsive capacitive touch screen, navigation between functions is fluid and intuitive. The tester can receive and transmit DMX signals to check the quality of a cable, a fixture or an entire installation. Data can be stored on a removable micro SD card, then read back for a more in-depth diagnosis.
An internal Li-ion battery provides up to 16 hours of battery life on a full charge, and is easily recharged via USB-C 5V. A physical fader and control buttons complement the touchscreen for precise control, even in demanding working conditions.
Built to last, the Showtec Assistant is housed in a sturdy ABS case in a compact format that's easy to carry thanks to the pouch supplied.
