Showtec - Controleur Octostrip FLEX

The Showtec Octostrip FLEX Controller has been developed to efficiently control Octostrip FLEX LED strips in professional configurations. Its design focuses on stability and ease of integration, thanks in particular to an IP65 enclosure capable of withstanding dusty or damp environments for temporary outdoor installations. The controller can power and manage up to eight FLEX tapes of the same length, from one-metre modules to fifty-centimetre sections. This unified approach simplifies configuration and ensures consistent rendering across the entire LED line.

The device embeds several well-established lighting protocols, including DMX, Art-Net and sACN, making it compatible with most modern infrastructures. Depending on the needs of the project, the technician can select different DMX personalities ranging from 9 to 256 channels. This allows either simple grouped management or highly detailed control of segments, for use in complex scenography or interactive sets.

The control panel is based on an OLED screen, which is easy to read even when mounted in a structure. It provides access to stand-alone modes, colour presets and internal sequences to facilitate console-free installations. Passive convection cooling avoids any noise pollution, which is an advantage when integrated into a museum, a fixed set or a video set.

Connectors, designed entirely for professional use, include 5-pin XLR ports for DMX and etherCON network inputs and outputs. Two Power Pro True connectors provide a reliable, daisy-chainable power supply. Thanks to its multiple clamp and Quick-Lock compatible attachment points, the controller can be quickly installed on structures, bars or plates.
