Showtec - DIM-4

The Showtec DIM-4 is designed to easily manage several lighting circuits requiring precise control or simple dimming. Its four channels, each limited to 3 A, can power a variety of traditional spotlights or decorative elements without overloading. Its maximum consumption of 8 A means it can be plugged into a standard socket, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of stage and event configurations.

The DIM-4 dimmer, also known as DIM4 or DIM-4 Pack depending on the model, can be adapted to different installations thanks to a choice of DMX modes: 1 channel for global management, 2 channels for separate groups or 4 channels for individual control. The choice of mode is made directly via the integrated display and front-panel buttons, in addition to the functions for defining each channel in dimming or switching mode.

For situations where a DMX controller is not required, the fixture has internal programmes and a sound mode capable of reacting to the rhythm of the music. This flexibility means it can be used in a variety of contexts, such as small stages, multi-purpose rooms, temporary installations or events requiring rapid set-up.

The metal casing ensures durability and the Schuko outputs on the front panel make wiring easy. The 3-pin DMX connectors on the underside of the fixture allow reliable chaining while maintaining direct access to the individual fuses for each channel. With its clear display, easy-to-set DMX options and stable operation, the DIM-4 is a practical solution for centralising the management of multiple lighting circuits while maintaining a clean, intuitive installation.
