Showtec - FX Shot MKII

The Showtec FX Shot MKII is designed to provide immediate stage effects without complex preparation. It is based on a system of disposable electric cannons, available in 50 or 80 cm versions, already filled with confetti or streamers. All the operator has to do is insert the cannon, power the device and trigger the effect at the chosen moment. This principle makes them a very popular solution for concerts, DJ events, sports events and TV shows, where reliability and speed of installation are just as important as the visual effect.

Propulsion is generated by a nitrogen cartridge built into the barrel. The pressure can reach up to 12 metres with confetti or around 20 metres with streamers, giving enough range to dress up small or medium-sized stages. Set-up is deliberately simple: a 230 V power supply is all that's needed to fire the cannon. For installations requiring grouped or synchronised firing, the FX Shot MKII can be used with a Showtec Relay Pack in conjunction with a DMX controller.

Its compact size makes it easy to integrate on a floor base or on a structure with a clamp. The metal chassis ensures that it will stand up to the test of time, even in intensive use at events. The blue and grey powerCON connectors enable the power supply to be linked easily and the connection to be made securely. The unit is supplied with a powerCON cable for immediate start-up. This makes the FX Shot MKII a reliable, straightforward and versatile tool for integrating professional confetti effects into any set-up.
