Showtec - Octostrip FLEX 50CM

This 50 cm version of the Octostrip FLEX LED strip is designed for modular installations where precise light rendering is essential. It is based on an RGBW architecture that makes it possible to work with four distinct zones, each capable of producing clean, regular transitions. The physics of the casing play a central role: aluminium forms both the mechanical structure and the dissipation element, guaranteeing constant thermal stability, even during prolonged use in a professional environment.

The Octostrip FLEX 50 cm retains the same logic as the 1 m version, but in a more compact format that lends itself particularly well to scenic contours, detailed sets and discreet installations where space is limited. The IP65 rating ensures sufficient resistance to water splashes and dust, making it suitable for temporary outdoor use. This level of protection is backed up by dedicated connectors designed to prevent infiltration and maintain a high level of reliability.

The internal section is organised around a set of LEDs calibrated to offer a uniform response across the entire surface. Operation with Showtec's Octostrip FLEX controller brings a significant degree of finesse to driving, with precise control of intensity variations and strobe effects between 0 and 20 Hz. This dependence on the controller is not a constraint but a way of ensuring a stable protocol between power supply, colour management and sequences.

The installation uses a sliding profile that is very easy to handle, enabling the bar to be positioned in a bracket or integrated into a structure. Installation remains clean and secure, with no need for specific modifications. The available accessories, in particular the black and white covers that also act as diffusers, extend the possibilities for visual integration to suit the desired décor.
