The SoundID Reference Add-on digital licence acts on the ORIA Mini system (not supplied) like a key that unlocks an acoustic dimension calibrated to the millimetre. With just a few clicks, your hardware processor loads the SoundID calibration profiles directly, guaranteeing exemplary linearity and surgical precision of frequency response. The result: balanced, reliable and consistent sound, without latency or CPU overload. With this add-on, the room stops imposing its whims and becomes a totally controlled workspace, as if your ears were wearing a pair of perfectly adapted glasses.

Presentation
The SoundID Reference add-on designed for the ORIA Mini is based on elegant hardware integration: SoundID profiles are exported directly to the internal processor. You then benefit from permanent acoustic correction, free from the need for any third-party software, as if calibration were grafted onto the sound card itself. It's a technical comfort that immediately changes your relationship with the mix.
The Sonarworks engineers built this system around a simple principle: no longer depend on an unstable configuration. In the past, you would have had to monitor your CPU, avoid crashes or juggle plug-ins at crucial moments. With this digital licence, everything happens at the source and the settings follow your listening without ever faltering. Your mixes are faithfully translated from one system to another, whether on studio monitors or headphones plugged into the ORIA Mini's output.
The strength of this add-on also lies in its fine-tuning options. You can shape the target curve in real time and decide which frequency bands will receive specific calibration. For example, if your room historically amplified low frequencies below 80 Hz, you could correct only this zone without affecting the rest of the spectrum. This level of granularity was unthinkable with a simple software application. Hardware management guarantees a response that's always the same, whatever session you're in or computer you're using, as if your sound environment were independent of the machine.
Finally, the integrated listening environment simulation will broaden your horizons. You can check how a mix behaves in a concert hall, a hi-fi system or a simple portable loudspeaker. It's a straightforward way of anticipating audience reactions, without leaving your desk. Combined with this licence, the ORIA Mini becomes an instant adaptation tool that follows you wherever you go in your production, mastering or sound experimentation.
