Presentation
The Telecaster Sonic is equipped with two single-ceramic pickups with an unmistakable character. The three-position selector switch lets you switch from clear, crystalline tone to more biting audio in an instant. The volume and tone controls allow you to fine-tune the sound, whether you're looking for the brilliance of clear registers or the warmth of a more saturated attack. This duo of pickups is just as effective in slamming funk as in incisive rock.
The 6-Saddle Top-Load Tele bridge makes it easy to fine-tune intonation and string height. The sealed die-cast tuning machines guarantee stable tuning even after several intensive sessions. Supplied with a 09-042 tie rod, the guitar is ready to play straight away.
The real acoustic heart of the pack, the Marshall DSL5C is an all-tube 5-watt combo, switchable to 1 watt for moderate volume without losing any of its typical grit. Equipped with two ECC83 preamp tubes and an ECC82 power tube, it powers a 10-inch Celestion Ten-30 speaker, delivering a balanced, dynamic sound.
The Classic Gain channel offers clean and crunch, ideal for blues or warm rhythms. The Ultra Gain channel pushes towards more intense saturation with lead 1 and lead 2 modes. Each channel has its own dedicated volume and gain, while a three-band EQ refines the overall colour. Tone Shift redraws the midrange, further expanding the sonic palette.
The digital reverb adds depth and space. The effects loop accepts your external pedals without altering the signal. The Softube emulated line output allows you to record or play through headphones, and the mini-jack input accommodates an audio player. The included footswitch controls channel change and reverb remotely.
Compact (455 x 420 x 240 mm, 12.7 kg), the DSL5C is easy to carry and versatile for rehearsals or small concerts. The 3-metre Easy cable reliably connects the guitar to the amp: 6.35 mm mono jack, 1.5 mm² cross-section, 6 mm jacket to protect against kinks and wear.
This trio - Squier Telecaster Sonic Black, Marshall DSL5C and Easy cable - covers the essentials for getting started or adding to your set. The combination of a responsive Telecaster and an expressive combo lets you explore rock, blues, country or pop. Just plug it in, set it up and let yourself be carried away by the pleasure of playing.
