Jet Guitars - JT-600 PP G

A T-shaped silhouette makes no secret of its intentions on the JET Guitars JT-600 PP G, a T-shaped electric guitar designed in Europe by the studio of Slovenian designer Primož Virant before being manufactured in China. The mahogany body combines the warmth of a dense wood with the luminous grain of the flamed maple top, all finished in a purple colour that stands out from more conventional guitars.

The neck, crafted from kiln-dried Canadian maple with a modern C-shaped profile, has a scale length of 647.70 mm, allowing the strings to breathe without straining the hand. The kiln-dried maple fingerboard features 22 frets over a radius of 241.30 mm – flat enough to chain together bends and power chords – and is topped by a 41.91 mm bone and polymer fibre nut. A double-action truss rod ensures the neck stays straight over time.

The HS configuration combines a T-Neck pickup at the neck with an Alnico J-Rail pickup at the bridge – a pairing that switches from a rounded tone to a more biting attack via a three-position selector switch. Volume and tone controls balance this tone, whilst a fixed bridge keeps the tuning stable even under heavy playing.

Gold-plated locking tuners and gold-plated hardware round off the package, ensuring the guitar stays in tune even on tour. Manufactured in China under the supervision of the JET Guitars team, this JT-600 PP G embodies an identity forged in 2020 around carefully selected woods and a value-for-money proposition that aims higher than its price tag might suggest.
