StarWay - Blast

Designed for applications where high light output must be combined with excellent colour quality, the Blast combines the functions of a blinder and a wash in a single unit. Its two high-power RGBAL COB modules deliver rich colours, delicate pastel shades and particularly uniform, calibrated whites. This versatility makes it easy to integrate into stage and television productions, events and any production requiring precise lighting control.

The integration of the BC Colour System provides advanced colour management. Lighting designers thus have access to an extensive palette, enabling them to reproduce consistent colours from one projector to another whilst maintaining excellent white stability. This technology also makes it easier to work in mixed setups where colour compatibility is often a major challenge.

With a light output of up to 35,900 lumens and a beam angle of 97°, the Blast is capable of covering large areas with uniform illumination. It can be used as a powerful front-flood to create spectacular lighting effects, but also as a wide wash to bathe a stage in light or enhance an existing lighting setup. Its CRI of over 90 ensures faithful reproduction of colours, sets and skin tones.

The mechanical design has been developed to meet the demands of the field. Its IP65 rating allows for use both indoors and outdoors, even in harsh weather conditions. The multi-mode ventilation system allows operation to be adapted to the demands of each performance whilst maintaining consistent lighting performance.

Blast also shares its chassis with StarWay’s Storm, enabling the creation of uniform clusters and lighting arrays. Thanks to the dedicated bumper and shared accessories, the two fixtures can be quickly combined to create large-scale visual structures that deliver a particularly effective impact on large stages and tour productions.
