Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar
Made in Japan as part of the Pro series, the P10NC from Takamine combines a solid spruce top with an East Indian rosewood back and sides to produce a rich, balanced tone designed for the discerning musician. Its CT4-DX Dual Mode electronics, equipped with a Palathetic pickup and a TCPU 1 transducer, provide a faithful, versatile sound reproduction that's equally at home on stage or in the studio. With its NEX Cutaway format, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, it offers comfortable playability and smooth access to high frequencies, and comes with a carry case.

Presentation
Takamine's P10NC electro-acoustic guitar adopts the NEX cutaway format, a compromise sought by seasoned guitarists who want the presence of a dreadnought with more restrained ergonomics. Its solid Sitka spruce top responds with precision to the attack, while solid East Indian rosewood on the back and sides adds depth and harmonic complexity.
The response is balanced for both detailed picking and strong accompaniment, with a defined midrange and steady bass. The mahogany neck, combined with an ebony fingerboard, offers a clean feel under the fingers.
The 643 mm pitch and 42.5 mm nut width allow enriched chords to breathe and promote clean articulation, even in the high positions made accessible by the cutaway. The abalone markers and tortoiseshell pickguard underline the sober, stage-oriented aesthetic.
When plugged in, the P10NC reveals its full potential thanks to the dual Palathetic® transducers and the CT4-DX Dual Mode system incorporating a microphone and TCPU-1 transducer. The signal retains its acoustic character and passes easily through a live mix or direct studio recording.
Produced in limited quantities because of the care taken in its manufacture, it is aimed at professionals who want a coherent instrument that is ready to work with.
