Presentation
Mixing Console Features
The console has 14 analog input channels, including 10 Tascam Ultra-HDDA mic preamps with switchable phantom power (48V) on eight mono and two stereo channels. It also offers 12 balanced line input channels (8 mono and 2 stereo channels) and a versatile stereo input for mobile devices via Bluetooth, RCA/phono connectors or stereo mini-jack on channel 13/14. Insert points on Input Channels 1 and 2 allow for easy integration of external effects, and these channels can also be used with high-impedance instruments such as electric guitars and basses.
The console is equipped with three auxiliary outputs (Monitor 1 (pre-fader), Monitor 2 (pre/post fader) and Effects (post fader)), three stereo outputs with independent Master faders (Stereo, Sub and Control Room), and "One-Knob" compressors on channels 1 to 8.
A switchable high-pass filter (100 Hz) is present on the eight mono channels and the two stereo channels, to reduce unwanted noise. Each input channel has Mute buttons, Stereo/Sub assignment selectors and switchable PFLs.
The three-band EQ with adjustable mid-range is available on the eight mono channels, while the stereo channels benefit from a fixed EQ. The semi-parametric EQ with two mid-bands (switchable wide/narrow Q) is available for the stereo and sub outputs.
The console also includes a Bluetooth receiver for wireless music playback, an effects processor with 16 presets, and 60 mm faders for precise handling. Balanced XLR and TRS outputs, as well as a headphone output with volume control, complete the features.
Recorder features
The Tascam multitrack recording engine allows you to record up to 16 tracks (all 14 input channels and their stereo mix) without a computer, directly to SD card (up to 128 GB, Class 10 or higher required). Files are recorded in WAV (BWF) format with a sample rate of 44.1/48 kHz and a resolution of 16/24 bits. The console offers overdubbing, punch in/out on up to 8 tracks, and multitrack playback to enhance arrangements in concert.
Audio interface features
The USB 2.0 audio interface allows use under Windows (ASIO driver) and macOS (CoreAudio driver). It supports the transfer of 16 audio channels to the computer (the 14 input channels and their stereo mix) and the transfer from the computer of 14 channels assignable to the console's input channels. The supported audio formats include 44.1/48 kHz sample rates and 16/24-bit digital resolution.
Other features
The console offers simple and fast operation thanks to an intuitive menu with multi-jog wheel. It can be installed in a 19-inch rack with an optional rack mounting kit. Internal AC power supply with detachable power cord ensures convenient and reliable use.
