Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar
Taylor's Legacy 714ce embodies a vibrant tribute to Bob Taylor's early designs, with a Grand Auditorium body shape that made history in 1994. Its combination of a Western red cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides delivers a refined sonic balance, combining deep bass and smooth treble. Its neo-tropical mahogany neck, topped with a Crelicam ebony fingerboard, promises smooth and effortless playing comfort. Featuring a Venetian cutaway and an LR Baggs Element VTC system, this electro-acoustic guitar combines tradition and modernity, delivered with a Deluxe hardshell case to take care of it with the delicacy it deserves. Please note, this model is only produced in small quantities, only 250 copies!

Presentation
You might think that the Legacy 714ce is simply a beautiful reminiscence of the past, but it is much more than a tribute to Bob Taylor's first creations. It deploys a warm and expressive sound, thanks to its red cedar table, ideal for guitarists with a subtle touch.
The association with Indian rosewood brings a particularly rich harmonic depth, perfect for those who like to let the notes blossom with a natural and singing resonance. This combination makes each chord a true moment of musical plenitude, where each harmonic seems to have its say.
If the visual side plays on a refined sobriety, with its black and white 5-ply binding, its green abalone inlays and its fake tortoiseshell pickguard, it is above all its playing comfort that risks making it the inseparable ally of experienced guitarists. Its mahogany neck, enhanced by a satin finish, offers a fluid and relaxed grip, while the ebony fingerboard provides a precise response and a most pleasant touch. A permanent invitation to brush the strings with the assurance of an instant and expressive response.
Electrification is not left out, since Taylor has opted for the LR Baggs Element VTC system, which ensures a natural capture of sound, without distorting the woody character of the instrument. Each nuance of play is respected, offering an authentic reproduction that will integrate as well in an acoustic as in an amplified setting. In short, a model that is not content with being a simple reissue, but indeed a guitar cut for today, with an echo of past achievements.

Beyond its sound and aesthetic qualities, the Legacy 714ce also embodies a commitment to responsible violin making. The choice of Crelicam ebony, from sustainable management, demonstrates Taylor's desire to combine musical excellence and respect for natural resources. A detail that might seem anecdotal, but which takes on its full meaning when we know that each note played also resonates with an ethical approach.
