Digital to Analog Converter with volume control TC Electronic BMC 2, is a professional and economical alternative to other proposals on the market!
ARTICLE N° 24871
Presentation
Case in desktop format, the BMC-2 operates independently, without connecting to a Mac or PC. In addition to managing the listening level, BMC-2 switches the signal between several types of entries with the following digital formats: S / PDIF, AES3, TOS and ADAT. Finally, BMC-2 checks and displays the digital network synchronization status (clock)
BMC-2 resynchronize all connected digital signals, jitter and artifacts are eliminated with the JET technology - which was at the base developed for the TC Electronic System 6000. BMC-2 handles output a pair of monitors with analog inputs, a pair of monitors with digital inputs and a headphone output with its independent volume. The calibration listening is available for each of these stereo outputs. BMC-2 also sets a reference listening level.

The analog outputs on XLR sockets offer a wide dynamic range. Led ridges meters (-60 to 0 dB Overload indication) visualize managed levels. Furthermore, the function iCheck (Integrity Check) is used to check the integrity of a signal proposing the listening separate mono and stereo components. This is especially convenient for the verification of artifacts induced effects after audio compression (MP3 or AAC): these artifacts are much more audible on the stereo signal component.

Listening to the mono component verifies compatibility with some restitution / distribution systems.

Characteristics
-
It will be easy to connect directly to the BMC-2 with most Mac computers or PCs used for video editing or audio: most new models now include at least one digital output as standard.
-
A stereo digital-to-analog conversion solution, coupled with a listening level controller, all representing professional and economic alternative to other proposals on the market.
-
Use for video or audio editing in digital connection to a digital patch, computer ...
-
Digital to Analog Converter with sync clock control function, selecting the input format
-
Level Controller listening / monitoring function with iCheck listen separate mono and stereo components
-
Reference Level listening, stereo LED meter peak, independent headphone output
-
Level DIM (less noise), CUT (cut out) and ALT output (pair of "alternative" monitors)
-
Inputs: SPDIF (compatible AES3 and AES3-id), TOS (optical) and ADAT. Direct selection of the source to listen to.

Utilisation pour remplacer un DAC ne supportant pas le 48 Khz. Son très bon, analytique et détaillé, aigu raffiné. Le DAC pilote un système Dynaudio BM12A plus subwoofer BM14S.
