D / A converter and controller monitoring
New product in desktop format, the BMC-2 operates independently, without connecting to a Mac or PC.
In addition to managing the listening level, BMC-2 switches the signal between several types of inputs to
following digital formats: S / PDIF, AES3, TOS and ADAT. Finally, BMC-2 checks and displays the synchronization status
digital network (clock)
BMC-2 resynchronizes all digital signals connected, and artifacts are eliminated with the Jitter
JET technology - which was at the base developed for the TC Electronic System 6000.
BMC-2 manages outputs a pair of monitors with analog inputs, a pair of monitors with input
digital, and a headphone output with its independent volume. The calibration listening is available for
each of these stereo outputs. BMC-2 also sets a reference listening level.
The analog outputs on XLR sockets offer a wide dynamic range. Led ridges meters (-60 to 0 dB
more indication Overload) visualize managed levels. Furthermore, the function iCheck (Integrity Check) is used to
verifying the integrity of a signal proposing the listening separate mono and stereo components. That is
especially convenient for checking the effects induced artifacts after audio data compression (mp3
or AAC): these artifacts are much more audible on the stereo signal component.
Listening to the mono component verifies compatibility with some restitution / distribution systems.
It will be easy to connect directly to the BMC-2 with most Mac computers or PCs used for editing
video or audio: most new models now include at least one digital output
standard.

stereo only.
