Technics - Pack SL-1210 MK7 + Flight Trolley

The Technics SL-1210 MK7 + Walkasse Turntable Trolley Silver Flight Case bundle brings together the latest version of the legendary SL-1200 and its protective case. The low-wear components keep the machine in top condition even after years of use. The dual-rotor direct-drive motor and its high-precision motor control deliver a torque of 2.2 kg/cm and a start-up time of 0.7 seconds at 33 1/3 rpm.

The highly sensitive S-shaped tonearm measures 230 mm, accommodates a tracking force of 0 to 4 g and holds the cartridge in its 7.6 g cartridge holder. The rigid, anti-vibration chassis and adjustable silicone isolating feet keep club bass vibrations away from the stylus. The gold-plated sockets, RCA phono output and ground (GND) socket keep the signal clean.

The 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm settings, speed adjustment of ±8 per cent or ±16 per cent, and the x2 pitch adjustment function are designed to aid precise beatmatching. Reverse playback brings back old scratching instincts, whilst the white LED Target-Light illuminates the stylus in the darkness of the DJ booth. The aluminium and rubber platter dampens nervous hands.

When it comes to transport, the 6 mm plywood flight case features a 0.8 mm honeycomb outer lining and solid aluminium profiles that absorb shocks. Inside, velvet, dense foam and Velcro-secured padding blocks hold the turntable securely within the 460 x 365 x 130 mm interior. Stackable ball corners, two butterfly locks and a Ø35 mm ABS cable grommet complete the package.

With its retractable trolley handle, wheels and recessed handle, the case easily transports its 8.5 kg, whilst the 11.2 kg of the turntable remains well protected. The black and aluminium finish blends in anywhere.

Powered by 230 V AC, 50 Hz, the turntable consumes 11 W, and just 0.2 W in standby mode. Included in the box are a dust cover, platter cover, 45 rpm centring ring, counterweight, auxiliary weight, cartridge holder, phono cables, GND cable and power cable, as well as a set of screws for the cartridge, so you can quickly get ready for your next session.
