Thorens - TD 202 Noire

The Thorens TD 202 Black turntable is designed for easy everyday use. It features a belt drive system with a DC motor, allowing platter rotation at two speeds (33 1/3 and 45 rpm) with a variation of +/- 2%.

This turntable offers superior audio quality thanks to its built-in line phono preamp. You can connect it to the line input of a stereo amplifier, hi-fi system or even wireless speakers that don't have a phono input. The phono preamp can be disengaged if you wish to use an external phono preamp or connect the unit to a specific phono input.

The TD 202 Black's lightweight aluminium tone arm ensures precise groove tracking and noise-free sound reproduction thanks to its vibration damping. It features a graduated anti-skating adjustment and a cell holder compatible with standard 1/2" mount phono cells weighing between 3.5 and 6 grams.

The turntable comes with a factory-fitted and adjusted Audio-Technica AT95E phono cell, providing quality sound reproduction. It is also possible to replace it with another, provided it is compatible with the 1/2" mounting system.

What's more, the TD 202 allows you to digitise your vinyl records on a MAC or PC thanks to its USB output and digitisation software such as Audacity. This allows you to correct minor defects and adjust levels during digitisation.
