The handle of the Tobago AESE-N semi-rigid case can withstand the weight of a mahogany body without flinching. No visible tension on the seams! Thrown on the floor, this model takes the impact well. There's no vibration at the bridge. Placed under a pedalboard, the shell doesn't crush. The interior remains stable, even when stacked.

The Tobago AESE-N is a semi-rigid case that doesn't mess around with protection. The 20 mm of polystyrene absorbs direct impact well.
Even a misplaced amp corner won't penetrate this shielding. The internal shape follows classic lines, without trapping corners.
Explorer or Rhoads? It'll fit, but it'll fit like a shoe. The ends stay close to the edge, especially if you stuff the front pocket.
And yes, the pressure can be transmitted slightly. Nothing dramatic, but it's something to watch out for.
Closure is fluid, even with a tilted head. The zip path remains wide, without tugging.
For Les Paul-type guitars? The fit is good. The internal profile reduces sudden movements.
