Take control of your drumsticks, even when your hands are desperately dry. The Vic Firth American Classic 5B DoubleGlaze drumsticks have been designed for drummers who find their comfort compromised by a lack of grip.

Their DoubleGlaze finish, applied in two layers, provides a slightly tacky feel that naturally improves grip. You’ll grip your sticks less tightly, your hands will tire less quickly and your movements will become more fluid, even after several songs or a long rehearsal.

This finish also adds a slight extra weight, which helps stabilise the stick during rapid strokes, without altering the character of the famous 5B.

Its standard 16" size remains an excellent choice for rock, pop, metal or any other genre requiring power and control.

Made from American hickory, it withstands repeated impacts with great reliability, whilst its medium-sized head maintains a comfortable balance under the fingers. Its teardrop-shaped wooden tip completes the package with a precise attack and a warm, round and natural tone on the cymbals.
