ARTICLE N° 124409
The Vic Firth American Classic Extreme 5A Nylon Vic Grip drumsticks are designed for drummers who give it their all on stage and need maximum reach without the risk of dropping their sticks.

Retaining the standard thickness of a 5A but with a total length of 16.5", this Extreme model offers a longer lever arm.

This allows you to hit harder and easily reach the cymbals furthest away from your kit. To ensure a secure grip, the shaft is coated with the red Vic Grip treatment, a highly effective non-slip coating that grips your fingers even when you start to sweat during a gig.

Made from American hickory, the shaft of the stick absorbs the energy of rimshots perfectly and reduces wrist fatigue.

The main difference lies in the tip: the teardrop-shaped nylon olive tip brings real clarity to your playing. Unlike wood, which produces a muted sound, this sturdy material makes the cymbals ring out very clearly and ensures that every ride or hi-hat hit stands out cleanly amidst distorted guitars.
