When the songs flow one after the other and the intensity builds, a good grip makes all the difference. The Vic Firth American Classic Extreme 5B Vic Grip drumsticks have been developed for drummers who appreciate the profile of a 5B but want greater reach and stability.

Their Extreme profile adds half an inch to the length of a traditional 5B. This extra reach makes it easier to access the various parts of the kit and provides a little more inertia with every movement. The 0.595" diameter, meanwhile, retains a familiar and versatile feel suited to a wide range of styles.

The Vic Grip finish is one of this model’s standout features. Its coating improves grip without altering the stick’s overall balance, helping to maintain a secure hold even during extended playing sessions.

Crafted from hickory with a medium ferrule and a teardrop-shaped wooden tip, this pair delivers a balanced response on both drumheads and cymbals. An excellent choice for drummers seeking control, comfort and power in a single model.
